Introduction
What to Expect
This multimedia story will take you back to the early years of settlers coming to America and the pain they induced on the Indigenous community. There is a historical film told from the perspective of David Young, a member of the Apache Tribe. You will be able to listen to a podcast about the contemporary problems that Indigenous people have to deal with including social and religious discrimination. A feature story will transport you back to a Gathering I attended, which was hosted by the Indigenous community. Last, there will be an interactive element that depicts the timeline for the Hughes Land, which is a contemporary piece of land the local, Northern Colorado Natives are fighting for. #LANDBACK
